DON'T GET FAKED OUT BY COUNTERFEITS
Buy from a reputable dealer at a reasonable price
The best way to protect yourself from fakes is to buy from this website or from our great authorized Kershaw dealers. You can be sure our authorized dealers receive their stock direct from us. You can also be sure your knife is fully backed by our Limited Lifetime Warranty. A counterfeit or fake? Not covered.
Counterfeiting cuts deep
As you would expect, counterfeiting hurts a manufacturer like Kershaw. We not only lose sales, but by having our name associated with fake products, our brand reputation suffers. Counterfeiting hurts our legitimate dealers, too. And ultimately, it hurts you, our customers.
Working with other manufacturers, we are taking all the legal steps we can to deter the counterfeiters. But it’s not a problem that can be solved overnight. In the meantime, protect yourself, your family, and friends by being vigilant and making sure that what’s in your pocket is a genuine Kershaw.
Warranty Policy
We, at Kershaw Canada are working hard to prevent counterfeits in the market.
Counterfeiting has become a serious problem in the knife industry. Inferior copies of our products are sold through both unscrupulous and unwitting dealers and may include our logos and copies of our packaging. Counterfeiting harms our company not only through lost sales but by having our name associated with inferior products, our reputation suffers. In addition, counterfeit knives are not produced with the same manufacturing standards required of legitimate manufacturers and can be dangerous to use.
By sending your knife to us, you agree that Kershaw Canada may, at its sole discretion, seize the knife for investigation and destruction. Kershaw Canada will not be liable for any costs to the customer who purchased the counterfeit product. Kershaw Canada shall have the right to perform examinations to verify the authenticity of the knife which may damage the knife. Counterfeit knives will not be returned to the customer.
Please keep in mind that Kershaw Canada may need to involve third parties or government agencies as part of their investigation, as required by law.
