To ensure you get a lifetime of service from your Kershaw, our products are backed by a Limited Lifetime Warranty against manufacturing defects. In addition to supporting our products with this warranty, we will be happy to repair your Kershaw knife for free when you send it in for warranty service. Please note we can only service Canadian customers knives.

ZERO TOLERANCE LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY

To ensure you get a lifetime of service from your ZT, our products are backed by a Limited Lifetime Warranty against manufacturing defects. In addition to supporting our products with this warranty, we will be happy to repair and sharpen your ZT knife for free when you send it in for warranty service.(If you have a broken ZT blade that is not covered by warranty, please see the information below.)

Kai USA can only accept warranty/parts requests for products purchased in the USA, Canada, or Mexico. If you purchased your product outside of the USA, Canada, or Mexico, please contact the authorized dealer from whom you originally purchased them to receive warranty service or parts.

To send your knife back for service, we ask you please reach out to us VIA the SUBMIT A REPAIR REQUEST page, and request repair information/availability. We will reply in 4-7 business days with next steps.

REPLACEMENT PARTS

Pocketclips can bend. Screws can get lost. To keep your Kershaw on the job, we are happy to provide a selection of free replacement parts. Parts can be sent only to Canada. If you are outside of Canada, contact the authorized dealer where you originally purchased your knife. To see if parts are available for your knife, please reach out to us via the SUBMIT A REPAIR REQUEST page and we will get back to you in 4-7 business days.

ZT Parts:

To keep your ZT on the job, we are happy to provide these free replacement parts:

  • KVT bearing washers (for KVT manual opening knives)
  • Handle screw set
  • Pivot bold set
  • Pivot washers
  • Standard pocketclip set (see below for premium pocketclips)
  • Stop pin
  • Torsion bar (for assisted opening knives)

However, many ZTs have premium parts that are more costly to manufacture and we must charge a fee for those replacement parts. Below are the currently available parts for which there is a fee.

Discontinued Models: Free replacement and premium parts for discontinued models may still be available. If your model has been discontinued, we encourage you to submit a part request and we'll follow up with you.

BLADE REPLACEMENT

In addition to the replacement parts above, we can also replace a broken blade that is not covered by warranty for $35 for Kershaw knives and $65 for ZT knives (effective 11/1/21). Please note that not all blades are available at all times, and replacement blades will not have the original laser markings. If there is any issue with your request, our service tech will contact you. To send your knife back for a blade replacement, we ask you please reach out to us VIA the SUBMIT A REPAIR REQUEST page, and request repair process information. We will reply in 4-7 business days with all the information you need.
