    Additional Charges

    • New artwork setup: $20
    • Repeat order setup (same logo on the same knife model): $10
    • Artwork requiring editing or recreation: $50/hour
    • Note that the above costs are in addition to the cost of the knife

    Shipping

    Standard shipping rates apply, with an engraving handling charge for larger orders. Please note that there is no free shipping with engraving orders, and shipping costs vary by province.

      Lead Time

      Please allow 7–14 business days after artwork approval for in-stock items.

       

      Artwork Requirements

      For the best engraving quality, please upload:

      • Vector (.EPS preferred)
      • .SVG
      • .PNG
      • .PDF
      • .JPG/.JPEG
      • .GIF

      Artwork should be:

      • 300 DPI or higher
      • Under 25 MB
      • High resolution
      • Clean, sharp lines
      • Preferably black artwork on a transparent background

      Please note:

      • Photographs cannot be engraved.
      • White artwork cannot be engraved.
      • Colour artwork will engrave in shades of grey depending on the knife finish.
      • Artwork requiring recreation or cleanup may incur a $50/hour conversion fee.

      Terms & Conditions

      Ordering

      • Engraving orders are final sale.
      • Orders enter production after artwork approval.
      • Lead time is typically 7–14 business days for in-stock products.
      • Pricing may change without notice.

      Artwork

      • Customers are responsible for proofreading all submitted text.
      • Customers must have permission to use all logos, trademarks, and copyrighted material.
      • Kershaw Canada reserves the right to refuse any engraving request.
      • Offensive, inappropriate, or copyrighted material will not be engraved.

      Production

      • Engraving is a surface laser engraving, not a deep etching process.
      • Engraving placement and appearance may vary slightly depending on the knife model and finish.
      • Artwork changes or order cancellations after production has begun may incur labor charges.

      Warranty

      • Products engraved by Kershaw Canada remain covered under the standard Kershaw warranty. Warranty coverage does not include misuse or abuse. Warranty replacement products will not be re-engraved.

      Trademark & Copyright

      • Kershaw Canada assumes clients are authorized to use trademarks and copyrighted materials presented to us for reproduction. Customers assume all liability resulting from trademark or copyright disputes.
